Indeed by this time we had played out no less than 4 campaigns! I'll have to include some notes about the PBM First Scotian Campaign, I suppose.

Once we started to move away from Frappe, there are at least a couple of relatively stable sets of House Rules I may post.

I have a new Napoleonic unit to post about in the next few days, and a series about the Danish Army of the Napoleonic Wars to start, so you needn't worry I will neglect the One True Period, LOL!

PeterGonsalvohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16531623280789478092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9170582445870210697.post-65534592672930101832013-01-20T23:56:21.823-05:002013-01-20T23:56:21.823-05:00Woodlands scenic flock AND from a plastic bag, wel...Woodlands scenic flock AND from a plastic bag, well, I sit corrected...!!!

Yes, you know me too well. I am presuming that you are preparing at least the same number of posts again dedicated to your 'coming of age' wargames-wise when you found the one, true path of Napoleonics! :-)James Fisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17897755636246185173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9170582445870210697.post-13264638057568633512013-01-19T13:29:16.779-05:002013-01-19T13:29:16.779-05:00The "real stuff", James? I think in a straight up fight in open, flat terrain, the Pikes definitely had the edge; so did the Romans; they generally avoided fighting in those conditions. Get the pikes in bad terrain or out flanked, and they quickly look very vulnerable... as they should.Gonsalvohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16531623280789478092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9170582445870210697.post-38882913980723512942013-01-15T05:34:54.610-05:002013-01-15T05:34:54.610-05:00Looks very interesting and old school ancients.
