2nd Quarter Totals: $502.53 Still well over budget, although the KS was the big (and unanticipated) item this quarter, and I think that will be a good investment for the long haul. And here we have Lodestone appearing, a word that became famous last month in the search for the "highly placed official in the Trump administration" who authored the anonymous NY Times editorial!

2nd Quarter: 957 points, all Napoleonic, and almost all Spanish, as expected. Painting will doubtless slack off a lot in the 3rd quarter, as usual!

Fair old spend but you've surely justified it with the number of figures painted!( And yes surely highlanders count double!)

I have alreay painted almost everything I bought that quarteer already, save for some of the Front Rank command figures for France and Bavaria, which I purchased mostly as I *will* be needing them, and the postal charges are so horrendous it doesn't pay to wait!
Delete18 Gordons...the joy of tartans overwhelm the difficulty painting, that's why they still count as one. Hungarian sword knots, however....
ReplyDeleteI have the Black Watch about 60% complete, Joe, so I have to make myself complete them. After that, I will still have figures to do two more kilted regiments, so I have to find a home for that unpainted lead soon!

The painting return well outstrips the expenditure, so you must be very satisfied with that.
