Your joy in painting has come through in the finished unit. Looking great and very dapper. I too was most impressed by their excellent colour-coordination and how much effort the village put into the banner! :) Regards, James
Thanks, David. I am thinking of using them as Very Inferior troops, perhaps for a ToR game at the small regional HAVOC convention outside of Boston in April.
They certainly look just as revolting as the previous bunch, Peter!
ReplyDeleteWell they are peasants, after all.
DeleteNot only do they get a flag but they shop at the same tailor too!
ReplyDeleteYes, I kept the coat colors uniform for my own ease of identification.
DeleteFor revolting peasants they look rather splendid.
ReplyDeleteWhat the well dressed peasant is wearing this century...
DeleteAlways glad to see angry (and beautiful) peasant!
ReplyDeleteA mob come in useful at times!
DeleteThe flag is definitely not revolting. Lovely work Peter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lawrence!
DeleteGood second unit, sure to be useful.
ReplyDeleteOne should always have some peasants in your back pocket! :-)
DeleteGreat looking peasants, Peter. The unit flags give them a look of credibility on the battlefield too!
ReplyDeleteThey want to be sure their local Lord gives a pension to their widows!

"We taint your run o' da mill low brow peasants, bub. We's got CLASS!"
DeleteIs the chap at the back supping an ale? No doubt the whole lot of them are drunk.
ReplyDeleteI think he's blowing his own horn, although doubtless the ale would be more to his liking!
DeleteThey look suitably revolting Peter!

DeleteSplendid looking peasants and a lovely and hopefully removable flag, good with some landsknechts for the German peasants war 1525 too!
