More of the many merry men in Murrey (and Azure)!
The deep burgundy color does make a striking contrast with the blue!
There is a pretty comprehensive listing of WotR livery colors at The Waving Flag site.
The database also lists the battles that each particular retinue participated in, which can be interesting and helpful.

You continue making quick work of this project! I have referenced that DB, many many times in building my armies. Terrific resource.
ReplyDeleteYes, very handy it is!
DeleteThe winter and spring are usually my most productive times for painting.
I have 5 more units almost done, then a pair of Spanish Napoleonic Infantry for variety, and then I will finish the WotR project after that.
Another cool unit! Thanks for livery source.
ReplyDeleteAs Jon notes, very useful!
DeleteThe free WotR compendium from WI has a lot of good articles and two livery listings as well, but no where near as comprehensive as this one!
Nice work again Peter, and I'll be back for that livery information again at some point I'm sure.
