Last month I took advantage of a sale at Scenic Express to replenish my supply of tufts, which were sorely depleted by all the Ancient era troops that have come across the painting table in the past year.
Spring, Summer and Autumn large tufts
Weed tufts, Spring Summer, and Late Summer varieties.
There's leafy material in with the static grass clumps on these, as seen above.
Finally some flowering tufts for variety - one pack each of mixed white and heather, and also red and yellow.
Heather and White Flowering Tufts, un-boxed, for the General!
Spring Weed Tufts
Late Summer Weed Tufts
The white and heather mix at the bottom looks really interesting. Be curious to see what they look like out of the box (hint, hint). Nice mix of tufts to jazz up bases and scenery with.

DeleteYou are too kind! Thanks for the close up.
DeleteYou are most welcome!
DeleteNever enuf tufts!
ReplyDeletePerhaps Weird Al Jankovic could parody The Fabulous Thunderbirds with his version of "Tufts Enuff!"
DeleteTufts have made their way into basing necessities in recent years. As for Weird Al, as a UConn Grad twice over, he lost me after "Look out where the Huskies go..."
DeleteCan never have enough of the basing odds and bods Peter - those TSS Bases certainly have a lot of ground to cover.
ReplyDeleteThe Bat Bases do indeed! I use WRG 60mm wide element bases myself, as I have since the 1970's.
DeleteThings are so much easier for wargamers now than back ye olde DIY days of yore :-)
