Another striking addition Peter. That's probably one of the nice things about an Indian army in that it gives you licence to use a bit of colour. They are going to look great on the table.
This is a lovely model and the paint job is very striking, Peter! I agree with Lawrence, the Indians give lots of scope for flamboyant colour schemes....looking forward to seeing your next efforts!
The chariots are looking good. I basically look on chariots and elephants as the wargames equivalent of comfort food - feeling bored? Paint up another chariot or elephant - usually works for me anyway!
Very nice Peter. The Old Glory Indians are a great range and another excellent member of their Ancients catalogue. You’ve done a tremendous job on these.
Thinking they might be Hinchliffe is a compliment to the Old Glory sculptor, I think. The Hinchliffe Assyrian 4 Horse chariots are still my favorites, and I have 8 of them in my collection! The reins are made of dental tape, painted suitable colors. They are a bit of a nuisance to do, but not that time consuming, and I think they really add to the look of Chariot models.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Lawrence. Obviously, I am taking full advatage of that liberty! :-)
DeleteVery nice
ReplyDeleteThank you, Neil!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Keith! I have definitely enjoyed painting these chariots!
DeleteAnother dandy, Peter! You will have little trouble spotting these two chariots even in dim light.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jon. Perhaps a bit like My Little Pony on steroids? :-)

ReplyDelete"Wargames Comfort Food"; I love it! Thanks, Rob.
DeleteGreat looking chariot, as was the last . I imagine the fit in your squares is assured. Looking forward to the battle report including them.
ReplyDeleteThey would fit well in either the 4" or 6" squares. Tabletop action is certainly coming, if not by the end of this year then sometime soon in 2023!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the very kind words, Carlo!
DeleteI thought they were Hinchcliffe to be honest. Are the reins added?
ReplyDeleteWhoops! I see they are
