The final entry of the trio of Elephants for my expanded Indian Infantry, is the elegant Ellie. She is a Newline Designs figure; the General mounted on an Elephant, if I recall correctly.
She makes her entrance clad in shades of violet, lavender, and dusty rose.
Silver bells, silver bells - it's stomping time for the pretty!
With Ellies exit, we have come to the end of my Indian Army expansion; look for an Army review later in the month!
Nice finish, the south end of the elephant. Ellie looks the part. The review certainly will be epic!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Joe; glad you like her!
DeleteGreat work on Ellie to round out the collection Peter. I'll look forward to the review.
ReplyDeleteSeeing what you have accomplished with your Indian army may be surprising. Looking forward to the parade.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite substantial now!

ReplyDeleteApologies for the deleted comment, but the typos were just too egregious to tolerate! What I meant to say was....very nice colour palette on this third Nellie, Peter, and like your other followers, I look forward to seeing a full parade of your Indian army.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Keith. I've enjoyed doing the Indians, but I am happy top have the project in the "rear view mirror!"
DeleteLooking rather regal in purple tones
ReplyDeleteThanks, Garry. Fit for a King! :-)
DeleteAbsolutely brilliant job Peter. That's Ellie, all right - to the life. Is the round purple object a sunshade or a weapon? Impressive, either way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the generous accolade, Tony! A Sunshade? That's a bit of British terminology I hadn't heard before. We would call it a parasol (or if more modern, an umbrella). As you likely already know, they were fairly common trapping of Eastern royalty,
