As my British army grew, I realized that I needed at least one more unit of Light Infantry.
These are Brigade Games figures, with the soldiers drawn form each of 4 additional units of Regulars after the first.
Thus there is a mix of Buff, white, yellow, and dark blue facing colors in the unit.
The compulsory shoulder "wings" are of course present.
They also wear the somewhat peculiar "chain" caps.

Nice looking figures. May they see good service on your table.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stokes!. They should see plenty of action next month!
DeleteA cracking looking regiment, very nice figures and a great job on them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Donnie!
DeleteHow many British light units is that now Peter? Two? I agree, one doesn't seem like enough. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lawrence. This is the 2nd British Light Infantry unit; there are also the Hessian Jagers and Simcoe's Queen's Rangers (Loyalist).
DeleteAnother excellent unit Peter - I really like the LI helmets, they look a bit like the light dragoons of the same period.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Keith, and I agree about the LI caps!
