With the upcoming Campaign in a Day in 3weeks covering the Spring 1807 campaign in Poland, it made sense to paint up some of the few Napoleonic Russians remaining in the Lead Pile.
This regiment was one of those raised after 1803 that was issued nonstandard flags, the patterns associated with the old "inspection" organizations no longer being relevant. This design is interesting, with the corner "rays" being half Royal Blue and half Purple.
The Vilna Musketeer Regiment was raised in March of 1807, just in time to join the fighting in Poland!
Also on the painting table are quite a few French command figures from the previous Piano Wargames Danube Campaign Kickstarters.
