Better protected and/or better trained, these are Indian "Heavy Cavalry"
Once again, the figures are mix of "old and new"; Old Glory, and Newline Designs (the trumpeter), that is!
The bronze and purple look is in vogue this year!
Getting the Javelins to glue in place was a nuisance!
"Alpine Meadow" flocking on the bases.
The colorful parade continues! From your photos, it looks like the Old Glory and Newline cavalry mix satisfactorily. Is that case?
ReplyDeleteThe Newline Designs figures are a bit slimmer, but nearly identical in height, so yes, they mix very well

DeleteI have seen lots of Indian infantry but this is the first time I've seen a close up of Indian heavy cavalry. Lets hope they perform on the tabletop as good as they look.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Lawrence. The cavalry are the weakest part of an Indian army, but with Elephants, Heavy Chariots, and Archers with 2 handed swords, there is plenty to like!
