A brief return to the Patriot forces today...
This unit has red facings on its collar, cuffs, and Lapels. I have designated it as being a Pennsylvania regiment.
The regiment (battalion) has regulation white vests and trousers.
Pennsylvania had a rather large quota of 12 regiments of Continentals.
Very snappy reversed colors for the drummer!
Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware were also assigned red facings.

lovely painted unit and your American Revolutionary War are coming up nicely
ReplyDeletenot sure how many AWI figures you painted - quessing about 400 figures?
A lot work but fun to deploy your units on the table top for some heavy duty action Sir! :o) cheers!
Thanks, Phil! I checked and this makes 250 figures so far (with backlog of about more 64 painted but not posted yet, and another 48 I should finish this weekend). I am planning to do the Battle of White Plains at HASVOC outside of Boston the end of March, so I have to add some Hessians to the rotation soon! Also at least one playtest is in order in the next 6 weeks or so!
DeleteGreat work. Your production rate is quite staggering.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Richard. Having AWI games planned for HAVOC and Historicon is a big motivator!
DeleteVery nice. Can easily count the 13 stars on those flags
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gary! We can thank Adolfo Ramos for the stars! :-)
DeleteComing together nicely Peter. I'll look forward to the playtest and seeing these great units in action.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lawrence! Yeah, I am aiming for at least a basic playtest of R&P within the next 2 weeks. FoB3 doesn't really need any adaptation that isn't already in the period rules for AWI.
DeleteAnother great addition Peter, and despite appearances so far, you have inspired me to return to the AWI, myself...update soon!
ReplyDeleteExcellent; I look forward to your update, Keith!
DeleteGreat work Peter, a really must get back to painting some AWI
ReplyDeleteThanks, Matt! I will have to get back to some of my Napoleonic Lead eventually, but probably not before summer!
DeleteGreat looking figures!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ray!
