ECW Scots Cavalry #1

The first unit of Scots cavalry gallops off the painting table! They appear 2 scenarios in the FK&P scenario book beyond the one we just played last week.

"Scotland the Brave!"

Old Glory figures; horses painted as "Roan".

Five bonnie bonnets and 1 helmet amongst them!

    1. Thanks, Lawrence. I actually spend some time considering the horse color/uniform matches. Only matters because I like relative uniformity that is achievable with toy soldiers but seldom in real life!

  2. Bonnie lads on bonnie horses. 6 man units? like that! But you need some heather on those bases!

    1. Thanks for the kind words, Carlo. The entire Scots project was precipitated by the combination of the "Maidenthyme" scenario book and the Old Glory Army Card!

    1. Thanks, Chris! As I said, I had no plans whatever for a Covenanter Army, but the appearance of the Scots in those scenarios prompted the project. There are lots more Scots to come!

  5. Top unit as always, always Peter. I really like how the fella in the helmet is pointing at the bonnet saying "I want one of those!"

    1. Thanks, James! Ach, if he's a true Scot, he's probably wearing the bonnet under the helmet! :-)

    1. Shipping with in the US for Old Glory is very reasonable; $9 US. International shipping to or from anywhere has become absurdly expensive, and we won't discuss the current issues with the Royal Mail!
In addition to the quality of the sculpts and the favorable Dollar/Euro exchange rate, shipping for Lucas' Kickstarters has been very reasonable as well - about $25 US for a very big, heavy package. Not so for almost everything else!
