This is the last of the Cavalry units added to my classical Indian army.
Once again the bulk of the figures are Old Glory, while the standard bearer is from Newline Designs.
Tehjr assignment is likely to be holding off enemy cavalry long enough to let their Elephants, Chariots, and infantry prevail.
Javelins at the Ready!
Quite the yellow outfits!
ReplyDeleteAnticipating the Su8n King by a few Millenia, perhaps? :-)
DeleteA nicely finished unit, the yellow will certainly stand out on the tabletop.
ReplyDeleteYep, you won't be claiming "they snuck up on me!"
DeleteAnother wonderfully colourful unit, Peter - your Indian army will certainly be very eye catching when displayed on the table!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Keith. Approaching a parade date - just some Nellies to finish up now!
DeleteThey look lemony fresh
ReplyDeleteBetter than the famous "fresh pine scent" of the Cossack lances from 2 decades ago!
DeleteThey must have used a lot of saffron. It looks great on them rather than in rice. Lovely stuff and I'm looking forward to the elephants. Always the star in any ancient army in which they appear.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lawrence. Hopefully I do the Ponderous Pachyderms justice!
