Here's the second unit of Byzantine Cataphracts.
These are Old Glory figures again.
They will likely serve as Palmyran or Sassanid for my two Historicon games.
As metal castings, these are very "heavy" cavalry indeed!
These will be the last armored horsemen for the next 3 months at least. Napoleonics will be the kings of the painting table between now and Historicon.
Another lovely unit, very nicely painted and they are nice figures.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Donnie!
DeleteMore great looking cavalry.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Richard
DeleteMore lovely cataphracts. I always admire that ceramcoat yellow on your figures Peter., it really is a striking colour.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lawrence. I think the main yellow on these is CC nEmpire Yellow.
DeleteThat officer is impressive
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gary. I think I borrowed him form the Byzantine High Command pack.
DeleteAnother beautiful unit added to the force, Peter - great work as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words, Keith!
DeleteYour hobby time should include back exercises to strengthen the body in order to move all these new units! More work.
ReplyDeleteDoes putting the boxes with them on the high shelves count?! :-)
DeleteI too like the yellow being used there. As for exercises ... got back to my stretching and pushups this morning, hopefully that helps with many things! : )
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mark. Doubtless a bit sore from all that gardening!
