Peleset Archers #2

A second unit of Peleset archers takes aim at Ramses II and his army!

Once again,  these fine figures are by Foundry.

Firepower isn't the strong point of a Peleset army, but it's nice to at least have some!

Painting these troops was very satisfying!

  1. Another very nice unit and I must say the headresses are very appealing, allowing the unit a very distinctive look:)

    1. Thanks, Steve; there aren't really any other troops with the same look as the Peleset!

  4. Awesome Sea Peoples archers, Peter. Foundry's Bronze Age ranges surely set the standard.

    1. These are the nicest Peleset archers that I have seen. The Old Glory (limited to Javelinmen/Swordsmen) and Newline Designs figures are also nice, each different in their own way. The two command figures in the rear rank are Newline.

  5. These look great Peter, and I particularly like the two rank effect with the front rank kneeling.

    1. Thanks, Lawrence. Since the mix of figures is 6 kneeling and 6 standing, it seemed right to base them like this!@

  6. The colors really pop with that nice basing. I have to get me one of those headdresses to wear around town for fun;)

    1. Thanks, Kevin. I think most folks would just think it was a badly done American Plains Indian headdress!
