They're baaaaaack!
Those "locker room" Libyans in their towels and, er., well... not much else!
The rank and file figures are Old Glory.
The green Micron pen was useful here!
"No if's, ands or butts?"
The Javelins were tricky to attach with super glue!
Two of the command figures are by Newline Designs.
I like 'em, Peter!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jon. They have a certain (mostly) naked charm! The Old Glory sculpts really are quite good, and the Newline even better
DeleteNot as flashy as the KGL last week!
I don't have any Old Glory ancients. How do Old Glory Biblicals match with Newline and Foundry? Actually, I may have a few Old Glory Trojans. My memory recalls OG being smaller. Is that right?
DeleteI sure do enjoy Newline Designs' ancients.
The OG and Newline Libyans are very good matches/ The Sea Peoples are similar heights but the Newline are much slimmer. (Foundry are finer sculpts, but similar in size and bulk to OG). By the end of the year you'll get to see OG and Newline Indians together.
DeleteLovely work Peter, and that green pattern on the yellow cloaks works very well indeed. Very eye-catching.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lawrence; making good use of the colored pens!
DeleteColoured pens are great for such fine detail. Another bunch of nicely animated sunbathers
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gary. After the kerfuffle about the required attire for Women's Beach Volleyball at the Tokyo Olympics, these guys say "We're just modeling the new uniforms for men's Beach Volleyball in 2024, mate!"
DeleteThese are very nice
ReplyDeleteThank you, Neil!
DeleteVery, very nice. But I thought you meant MiniFigs 25mm Gloriosus figures
ReplyDeleteI have plenty of Minifigs Assyrians; among their best!
DeleteSplendid looking Libyans! Towels and feathers to complete the look!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
Sounds kinda like a Western;
Delete"If'n y'all ain't outta this here town by high noon, y'all be toweled and feathered!" :-)
I don't know, more risqué, under-dressed troops after those 'proper' KGL below!
ReplyDeleteFine work on these. Love the cloaks, as with the orange jobs in the post below.
Regards, James
Thanks, James. "Have towel, will travel!" :-)
DeleteGreat figures and paintjob, something about the combo of blanket and feathers works perfectly :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mark. It would make quite the costume party outfit, eh?!
